Over the course of the Easter weekend—including Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Sunday—we'll follow Jesus' journey to the cross, triumph over the grave, and appearance to many. Join in as many Easter services as you can (in-person in Toowoomba or online), as we dive into Matthew's Gospel. Our great hope this Easter, is that many might come to believe, be strengthened in belief, and spurred onto to share what they believe about Jesus. We'd also love to invite you to contribute towards our Easter Art Exhibition.
Reflecting on the night before Jesus died: the meal he gave, his commandment to love, and the example of servanthood he provided to the disciples and us.
Our Maundy Thursday service will be followed by a prayer vigil (participate from home). Register for a time slot.
Remembering—with sorrow for our sin and gratitude for God’s grace—Jesus’ love poured out on the cross. There will be a St Bart’s Kids program (check-in from 9.15AM) throughout the service. Youth are also welcome to join the CHARGE discussion. Join us after the service for tea, coffee, and hot cross buns.
In-person only at Picnic Point.

Anyone is welcome to contribute, with the option for digital artwork to form part of the exhibition as well. St Bart’s Kids will also have the opportunity to contribute as part of their preparation in the lead up to Easter. Artwork will be featured in the foyer at St Bart’s (from Easter Sunday), with all contributions also viewable online from March 31-April 7.
Physical Artwork: Bring your named artwork (kept to a reasonable size) to St Bart’s anytime in the lead up to our Maundy Thursday (March 28) service. You are welcome to write a short explanation of your artwork and how it reflects your faith in Jesus. Artwork will be ready for collection after April 7.
You can join any of our Easter services (except for our sunrise service at Picnic Point on Easter Sunday) via our livestream. People connect online for a variety of reasons. Most people connect online because they are physically dislocated (due to health reasons, limited mobility, or remoteness), curious about St Bart's or Christianity, or simply find online more convenient. Whatever the reason, you're welcome to join us online. Many people who join online count themselves as members of St Bart's, and get involved in various aspects of our life together.
jOIN the LIVESTREAMSt Bart's is committed to fostering an inclusive and accessible environment. Please note that these accessibility options are available for our Good Friday and Easter morning services.
St Bart's Kids will have a full Easter program on Good Friday (9.30AM) and Easter Sunday (9.30AM). In St Bart's Kids, Children participate in age-appropriate activities that are designed to match the sermon series. Children check-in to St Bart's Kids from 9AM in the foyer. There is also a CHARGE discussion group (for those in Years 7-12) after the sermon. If you're visiting for the first time, the team will assist you in completing the new families form.
