At CHARGE (Fridays & Sundays) we’re focused on youth getting connected, having fun and growing as disciples of Jesus.

  • Every Friday night during term time, CHARGE Youth meets from 6:30-9pm. Read the overview and watch the description below.
  • On Sundays during the 9:30am contemporary service, the youth also meet together after the teaching time to discuss the sermon and relevant topics.

CHARGE Youth Group

FRIDAYS 6:30-9PM at St Bart’s

CHARGE Youth meets on Friday nights from 6.30-9.00PM for grades 7-12. Each week brings something different as we explore faith amongst a welcoming community.

We begin the night with some chill time and games, before youth in grade’s 7-9 and 10-12 split up for age specific activities, teaching and small group time. The night finishes with all ages joining again for supper. We also have a wide array of fun social nights each term!

Everyone in Grades 7-12 is very welcome to join us! For more information, contact our Youth and Young Adults Minister, Peter Dutton.

CHARGE on Sundays

SUNDAYS 9.30-10:45AM during 9.30am Service

During our 9:30AM Sunday service, youth in grades 7-12 meet together in age specific small groups after the sermon to explore weekly questions whilst enjoying snacks.
The youth begin by enjoying a fun activity about the weekly topic, before discussing a range of questions about the bible passage and how to apply it to their lives. Speak to the CHARGE team at the check-in desk before the service to find out more.

Creating a Safe Environment

At St Bart's, we're committed to creating an environment of safety and wellbeing for every single person, especially those who are most vulnerable.

As part of this, our Parish has implemented a Child Protection Risk Management Plan to assist in protecting our children and other vulnerable people from harm in our church. This includes the screening of clergy, staff, volunteers, and office holders in our parish by using the Queensland Government's Blue Card Services. A Code of Conduct and an Anglican Church Southern Queensland's safe ministry check is provided for all people working with children. If anything is worrying you, please contact one of the following:
