As part of our mission goal to extend reach and address areas of critical need for the most vulnerable of Toowoomba, we support the work of St Luke’s Larder and SU breakfast and lunch programs through the donation of non-perishable food items. Donations can be placed in the collection baskets in the reception area of St Bart's at any time, with a particular focus on collecting these items on the second Sunday of each month. Items are then sorted and delivered by our team to St Luke’s or schools as needed. Download a list of needed items.
As part of our mission goal to extend our reach into the wider Toowoomba community, St Bart’s Care organises Friendship Morning Teas which are held on the third Wednesday of every second month (January, March, May, July, September, November). The morning teas offer a chance for men and women to meet and enjoy Christian fellowship with others in a relaxed environment - sharing some delicious food and singing some favourite hymns. For information on when our next Friendship Morning Tea will take place, visit our events page.

Nursing Homes

We assist with services at five nursing homes across Toowoomba. This includes: Symes Thorpe, Church of Christ Care, Yukana, BlueCare, and Lourdes. For more information, please check with each place of residence.
