RAISING UP GOSPEL WORKERS

Identifying, encouraging, developing, and sending Gospel workers has long been part of the mission of our church.

Over the past decade, it is with great thanks to God that we have witnessed: Four people ordained as priests and sent out to serve in other churches; Eleven interns developed (64% continue to serve in paid local church roles); and Several missionaries sent out locally or overseas. It is a kindness of God that he invites us all to participate in his mission and that he raises up some to be ministers, chaplains, and missionaries. We have so much to give thanks for, however, there is still so much to do. With that in mind, we’re launching a 2026 training fund to help us get going with a renewed focus on raising up Gospel Workers.

We’re prayerfully seeking to raise $50,000 before the end of this year to help resource three key initiatives in 2026: (a) a bursary to enable someone to commence theological study; (b) employing more interns; and (c) resourcing a coaching group (led by a faculty member of Ridley) for those currently in the process towards ordination (in 2026 we’re anticipating 3-5 people from St Bart’s!).
