God calls every Christian to take their part in the building of his church and in the mission of God in the world. This involves a wide range of ministries and missional contexts. God also calls some people to particular ministries within the church—both lay and ordained—in specialist areas (e.g., youth, children, pastoral care, discipleship, evangelism), chaplaincy, local church leadership (e.g., priest), church planting, and missionaries.
