This week we held our annual Holiday Kids Club, welcoming 112 children to come on an Incredible Race to find out more about God’s love for all people. 30% of the children heard about this event from a friend and 12% of those who attended are not currently connected with a church. Holiday Kids Club was a great opportunity to share the Gospel with families in our community.
Since the theme focused on travelling around the world and looking at different cultures, we had the opportunity to showcase the diversity amongst our own St Bart’s community. Apart from daily electives, one of the highlights was a Cultural Feast day on Thursday, where the children all participated in different cooking classes and then shared what they had made at a tasting lunch.
A big thank you needs to be given to all of the team who gave up their week to be available to nurture and guide the children each day. A further thank you to all those who baked, made coffee, cut up fruit, served, picked up orders, checked in children, built the backdrop, gave tech assistance, lent artefacts, and more.
Please continue to pray for each of the children over the coming weeks as they continue to remember all that they learnt and the experiences they had.
