Prayer points for Bishop Daniel, Specialist for Ethnic Congregations

Give thanks for the 2 bishops who were elected to the Diocese of Duk, and that Bishop Daniel is now relieved from the task of assisting in the search for his replacement. Pray that the new bishops will serve the Diocese well.

Pray for 2 orphan boys who recently sat National Exams in South Sudan, to qualify for technical college. Pray that they are successful in their endeavours, and that they can gain financial support so that it is possible for them to attend college and learn a trade.

Give great thanks for the carers at the orphanage in Uganda, who take care of orphans from Duk. Give thanks for their compassion and faithfulness, pray that they will be equipped with God’s strength as they continue to care for and nurture the orphans. Thank God for the recent visit from a representative of Anglican Aid Abroad, to learn of their circumstances and to encourage them.

Pray for God’s guidance and wisdom for Bishop Daniel as he ministers to the ethnic congregations in our Diocese; for good health and protection especially as he travels through the region, for discernment as he works through complex issues.

Pray for Bishop Daniel and his wife Rachel and their children; for protection and guidance.
