Prayer Points for Chappy Phil, serving with SU Australia at Gabbinbar State School

1) Give thanks that: the chaplaincy continues to find favour in the school, the growth & acceptance of the Chappy Room, many positive relationships with staff, an overall reduction in complex and escalated student behaviours, welcomed classroom visitations and a well received in-school chaplaincy fundraiser with the Penny Skateboard.  

2) Pray for wisdom for Phil in his daily check-in with his school-in-line supervisor to set the course of his day and as  regular check-ins with the school Guidance Officer.

3) The Chappy Room has often reached capacity for students attending the available space. The Deputy Principal has asked Phil to consider how to better manage the Chappy Room. Pray that a decision can be reached as to any potential timetabling that is fair to all.  

4) Pray for more classroom opportunities, invitations and visitations.

5) There is the possibility of having another in-school chaplaincy fundraiser as the chaplaincy was gifted tennis racquets from Ash Barty's Foundation. Pray for wisdom as Phil considers this decision.    

6) Pray that volunteers will come forward and extra-curricular activities or clubs can be eventually be started.    

7) Thank God for the CRI teachers that come weekly to faithfully present their lessons. Like chaplaincy, pray that CRI will be allowed to continue in the state school system.
