This Sunday we are praying for Anglican Overseas Aid, and their emergency response in the Middle East.

Pray for all people impacted by the violence that has escalated in Israel and Gaza, for those who have lost loved ones, are injured and are living in fear. Pray for peace, justice and an end to violence.

Pray for the hospital supported by Anglican Overseas Aid for many years, which has been hit by explosion during conflict. Concerns for the staff and patients of the hospital have now become a reality.

There have been thousands of casualties, most of which are women and children, and 1.4 million people have also been internally displaced. Many Hospitals are on the brink of collapse (shortages of medications, equipment, staff, energy sources, etc.). The targeting and destruction of hospitals and health facilities have resulted in the deaths of thousands of people and depriving the wounded of essential life-saving medical interventions. Pray for an outpouring of generosity and giving towards Anglican Overseas Aid’s emergency aid.
