This Sunday we are praying for Bishop Daniel, who serves our Diocese as Specialist for Ethnic Congregations.

Pray for the process of seeking and electing a new Bishop in Duk, as progress is extremely slow with many difficulties. Please pray for God’s will to be done, that the right person is found who will be elected, and is able to unify and lead the people of Duk.

Pray for the expected election in 2024 in South Sudan. There is little clarity on the process, with much confusion and rumours. Please pray that the elections can take place, and that all the people involved with the process as well as the voters, will be kept safe.

Pray for Bishop Daniel’s role as Specialist for Ethnic Congregations. The role is extremely challenging; pray that things will settle, and that Daniel will have God’s wisdom, peace and direction.
