This Sunday we’re praying for Chappy Matthew Vels, who recently began serving at Gabbinbar State School.

Give thanks for Matthew’s connections with the school community and for the welcome that he has received. 

Pray that he will continue to strengthen relationships with the school staff, parents and especially the students.

Pray for the school community, especially for the families coping with seasonal illnesses, including Matthew’s own family.

Pray for the upcoming SU Sports Camp, that it will be well attended, and for financial support/sponsorship students who need it.

Pray for wisdom and discernment for Matthew to be able to reach out to students and families who are particularly in need of support.
