New Series & Events

September 15, 2025

This coming Sunday we will commence a new, three-week series exploring our place in God’s creation. John Stott said:

“Scripture tells us that “the earth is the Lord’s” (Ps 24) and also that “the earth he has given to man” (Ps 115). These assertions complement rather than contradict each other. The earth belongs to God by creation and to us by delegation. This does not mean that he has handed it over to us in such a way as to relinquish his own rights over it, but rather that he has given us the responsibility to preserve and develop the Earth on his behalf.”

Over 3 weeks we’ll explore:

  1. God’s Creation & Our Rule
  2. Fallen Creation & Our Part
  3. New Creation & Our Future

Resources

Look out for the Series Overview next Sunday. We’ll also provide a companion resource on ways that we can enjoy, learn about, and care for God’s creation. On Sundays, visit the bookstall and feature library books in the foyer.
