Public Lecture

July 7, 2024

Our annual Public Lecture is an opportunity where we can invite our friends, colleagues, and neighbours to hear from an interesting speaker, and respond with their own questions.

This year Stephen McAlpine is joining us to unpack one of the most pressing questions of our age, one that impacts all of us: Why are we so anxious in an age of self-reliance? The format of the night is very simple: a talk, Q&A, and conversation over hot drinks.

Stephen is a published author in the fields of theology and culture, and has pastored at several churches in his home state of Western Australia.

Friday 26 July, 7:00-8:30pm

There are a number of ways to be involved:

✉️ Invite & Register: Pick up a postcard, share the event online, and invite some friends along! The cost is $5 per ticket.

🙏🏾 PRAY: This is by far the most important thing that we can all do! Please be praying for courage in invitation, open hearts to respond, Stephen’s preparation, and that God would be using this event to draw people closer to Jesus.

👋🏾 SERVE: There are a range of ways to serve on the night. If you would like to be involved, complete this form: bit.ly/3xymsdw

Register: Tickets are just $5 per person.
