As we consider the ‘give’ aspect of our life together (Gather, Grow, Give, & Serve) this week, we’re also challenged that one of the key ways in which we love one another is through the generosity of our resources. This year has brought about financial hardship for many people, which means that we have the opportunity to rely on the support of others, and/or care for those in need. Please pray that we will be a community growing in our sensitivity to the needs of others and our generosity to those where this is needed.
With increased financial pressure on households, this also means we have lagged in our budget for tithes and offerings. I’m so thankful for people’s sacrificial generosity! If you’re not a regular giver to St Bart’s, I’d love to invite you to become one. Regular giving (regardless of the amount) is critical to support our ministry and mission.
