Join us for a Weekend Away at Coolum Beach, from Friday May 22 to Sunday May 24. This is a weekend for all ages, with a kids program, Bible teaching, and plenty of time to enjoy the beach! It’s a great way to meet new people and set aside some time to grow as a disciple.

Speaker: Stephen McAlpine
Stephen has pastored and planted churches in Australia since the early 1990s, and has a heart for seeing God’s people flourish faithfully and courageously in the modern West. He is a cultural commentator, author, and public theologian who works alongside Christian organisations as they navigate the changes and pressures of modern, secular society. Stephen is married to Jill, a clinical psychologist, who has partnered with him in ministry in the 30 years they have been married. They have two adult children.

The theme of the talks will be on: Together
When God saves people, he gathers them together. Together to himself. And together with each other.  It’s both a vertical and a horizontal togetherness. The story of the Bible is about God redeeming his creation by gathering together a people who have been scattered, but gathering them now for a purpose – to become those who show the world what it looks like to gather together around God in worship, and to gather together with each other in genuine community. Together is God’s eternal plan.
