Give thanks for the successful launch of our new mobile community pantry (held every second Wednesday here in lightning Ridge, in partnership with Anglicare) - last week we served 57 bags of groceries to community members, three of whom have since started coming to church directly from new connections through the pantry
Give thanks for our monthly gospel gathering yesterday (Sat 27 Jun) at Opal Street Park (this month, there is a focus on reaching out to our local youth), followed by pizza prayer and praise back at the church
Pray for our upcoming NAIDOC week church service next Sunday 5 July, on the old biggest block in the centre of town; pray for each of the heads of our local Indigenous families in attendance who will receive a copy of the Bible league Plain English Version.
Pray for Kurt and Samuel and their families as they head away to the Bush Church Aid (BCA) 2026 field staff conference in QLD over the July school holidays — pray that it will be a safe and refreshing time for all.
