I’m delighted that we have again commenced advertising to employ a Pastoral Care Coordinator to serve two days per week as part of our ministry team. 

We long to be a church that generously pours out the love of Christ, especially to our brothers and sisters in need. We are served by an incredible care team (thank you to all who serve in this way!) and each of our ministers are also actively involved in pastoral care, however, the pastoral care coordinator has a focused role in helping to ensure that every person in our church is cared for. This role is by no means to the sole provider of care, but instead to enable the whole body to take its part in this vital ministry. This includes coordinating a team of visitors (and ensuring that they are cared for); continuing to build significant community in the aged-care facilities in which we have a link; growing and developing the pastoral care team; and building upon existing ministries, and seeking other opportunities to care for those in our community as an expression of the Gospel
